Alongside my advisory work, I lead a research program on powerlessness.The research explores:• How and why people experience powerlessness• The strategies and processes they use to overcome it• What individual characteristics and external factors enable the transformation of the experience of powerlessness into a foundation for resilienceThis research informs how I work as a way to understand what actually happens to people when stakes rise and complexity overwhelms.
